  Never met Dr. Patel. I scheduled a new patient visit 2 weeks in advance, but 5 days before my appointment his office called to tell me he wouldn't be there at that time - the time they had scheduled me for! Finally went for a new patient visit and after waiting one hour and twenty minutes requested all of my paperwork back. Personally I feel this is too long to wait and see any doctor. It was fascinating, however, to see how a 3rd world doctor's office operates. I would give him "no stars" as a rating but Google requires I give at least one to post my review.

  The office as a whole is disfuntional, and has no respect for time. I made an early morning appointment for my first visit with Dr. Patel, I showed up 20min early with my paperwork already completed (the paperwork also has several medically irrelevant questions related to driving habits, firearm ownership, and employment). I gave the receptionist my paperwork and sat down, there was one other person waiting to receive a cosmetic laser procedure on her neck (they spoke loudly with her personal information), she was called, got her procedure, and left in about 5min. I was left waiting as the only person there for 10min before someone asked to see my ID and insurance card, then waited for another 20min as the only person there before I was told they were trying to verify my insurance (now about 30min past my appointment). I was able to learn how to, and verify my insurance in about 2 minutes on my phone as I waited there alone. Now this is where this place goes very bad. Another 10 minutes go by and the receptionist tells me I am still waiting for my verification, I then tell her I was able to verify it myself easily. Her reply was that of trying to one up me saying "we did that awhile ago, it's easy for us too.". I said good, so what is the wait? Is Dr Patel here? The receptionist tryied to explain that yes he was there, yes my insurance was verified, and yes I had to wait more, and offered that could leave and comeback in an hour. I explained to her that I was told that they were waiting to verify my insurance, and at this point the receptionist clearly realized that she caught herself in a lie. I asked for my personal information (paperwork) back, and explained that I do not appreciate being lied to, they instantly started to backtrack as Dr Patel came out of his office, I told them all that if their process was at all representative of his medical practice I fell like I dodged a bullet. I will note Dr Patel just stared and said nothing as I took back my paperwork and left, 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Total time there 1hr 10min, of which 40min I was the only person waiting. Shameful.
